What's New For 2022?

This year, Jeep has lowered trim levels to just four. Which includes the new X model. Along with special exterior graphics, the Cherokee X also features a V6 powertrain and larger all-terrain tires. The Latitude Lux also receives some changes. It receives a new dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7.0-inch gauge display, a 115-volt power outlet, and more. And every Cherokee now comes standard with a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen.

Performance

Under the hood are three powertrain options. These options include:

  • 2.4-liter 180 horsepower four-cylinder engine
  • 3.2-liter 271 hp V6 engine
  • An optional turbocharged 2.0-liter 270 hp four-cylinder

Safety & Technology

Throughout the various trims are tech, like heated front seats, a six-speaker audio system, and a panoramic sunroof.
