The 2022 Grand Cherokee’s entry-level engine is a 293-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V6 system. A 375-horsepower plug-in hybrid is offered. The top trims have the option for a 5.7-liter, V8, 357-horsepower engine.

Appearance

For 2021 and 2022, the Grand Cherokee has a rectangular design running across a wide grille. Both model years also have rectangular headlights and squared-off tire wells. In 2022, the front end has been restyled with slightly smaller headlights, a tall lower-front fascia, and a boxier hood. The profile is also more rectangular, and the sides are smoother.
