What's New for the 2023 Jeep Compass?

The compact Jeep Compass is placed between the Renegade and the Cherokee in the 2023 lineup. In 2022, the Compass benefited from additional safety features and cabin technologies. Its exterior and interior styles were also refreshed. The updates continue for the 2023 model year. Specifically, all-wheel drive is now standard for all trim levels. In addition, the exclusive powertrain available in all Compass trims has been upgraded. This year, a 2.0-liter turbo, the four-cylinder engine puts out 200 horsepower. The Compass also has a new eight-speed auto transmission. In addition, the safety technologies have been enhanced by introducing a rear seat reminder and a drowsy driver monitor.

The style of the 2023 Jeep Compass holds steady. It has a laid-back yet powerful look with confident angles throughout the profile. The sides display body-colored definition over the square wheel fenders, and a crisp definition line accents the door panels. The front end has a slight angle that makes the black bumper jut out. Above this bumper, a middle, black accent bar connects to large, black ports for the small foglights. The rectangular grille stretches to integrate with the premium LED headlights. Exterior features offered in select trims are a panoramic sunroof, up to 19-inch wheels, auto wipers, a hands-free liftgate, a wiper de-icer, tow hooks, skid plates, a raised suspension, roof rails, and others.
