What's New for the 2023 Dodge Hornet?

The Dodge lineup grows more impressive in 2023 with the addition of the Hornet. The Hornet is a small SUV that sits at the front of Dodge's SUV lineup. Its introductory model year is only offered in one trim level. The Hornet GT is available with a turbocharged 2.0-liter Hurricane4, four-cylinder engine. It combines with a nine-speed auto transmission to wow its drivers with the production of 268 horsepower. The Hornet can jet up to 60 miles per hour in only 6.5 seconds. For 2023, the Hornet is available exclusively with all-wheel drive. The Hornet R/T trim will be released soon. This trim will have a plug-in hybrid, turbo 1.3-liter, four-cylinder engine. It will be combined with all-wheel drive and a six-speed auto transmission to produce 288 total horsepower.

Inside the 2023 Dodge Hornet, you will find space for five passengers and a roomy cargo area in the rear. The dashboard is dressed up with a 10.25-inch central touch display screen and a 12.3-inch digital display for the driver's gauges. Other interior features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a UConnect5 system, a push-button ignition, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, keyless entry, a powered liftgate, and more. The Hornet is also smartly outfitted with numerous advanced safety features. These include traffic sign recognition, forward collision mitigation, a driver attention warning, adaptive cruise control, a lane departure warning, lane centering assist, auto emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, and other items.

The Hornet's exterior has a powerful, stunning look with prominently sculpted sides and a confident descent through the roof. The hood has a swooping quality with substantial scoops. The sharp LED headlights on the Hornet's front end are connected by a black accent bar. The lowered grille angles outward, and slender, tall air vents flank it.
